The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I want a fast read because I open my parents presents tomorrow night. I know they got me books, and I want to read them on vacation!

I finished the book today, and it was amazing! I did not expect such a great book. I can see what all the fuss is about. I know some school have it for required readings which I think is great. I did expect more from the ending, I think I was hoping for a breakthrough but of course that does not always happen in real life. The book ended with "hope".
   I never read anything from afganistan before, and it was really interesting. Afganistan has a very bad reputation right now, and its important for people to understand that there are PEOPLE in Afganistan, not everyone from Afganistan is a terrorist. The media makes it seem that way, but there are civilians who need to be freed. It was a very good read. I could not put the book down!

***I had a feeling that Hassan was Baba's son. I knew it, just because of his interests in Hassan. I'm proud that I figured that out so early in the novel.

This novel is really great. I'm so happy that I am reading it. It sat on my shelf for many months and I finally got around to reading it. I will definatly recommend it to everyone! I'll have it finished soon. I'm at the part where Amir goes looking for Soraya, I wonder if he'll get the chance to adopt or something bad will happy to him. A lot of people have been mentioning that it is a sad book, so my bet is that Soraya gets killed.

The author has another book coming out in May. I'll definatly read it. It's called  "A Thousand Splendid Suns."

I finished reading it today, and it was really good. I hated to put it down because the story was very interesting. It was not like Harry Potter, which I really liked. It is a seperate series that I can enjoy. I did think that Boy 412 was Septimus, but other then that nothing else was predictable. I do think that some of the obstacles were completed too easily, but I wasn't disappointed. I really liked the original story, I was expected a Harry Potter-type book but it wasn't at all.

Glad I read it....and will read the second one soon.

I wonder how Jenna will be when she is Queen. I wonder if the Heap's will move into the castle with her. The second book is called Flyte. I have it already, and i'll read it when I get the chance. I have so many books just waiting to be read.

I think Saturday morning exams should not be allowed. I'm so tired right now...can't wait for this to be over.

I'm so stressed over exams. I really hate exams...

Today I wrote my first exam, it went well except for the fact that both my pens ran out of ink. I took two gel pens out of my pencil case, and I could not see how much ink was in them, and they both stopped working. So I have to wait and ask an invigilator if I could get a pen, thankfully I had one more blue pen in my pencil case. So next exam...i'll take 3 new pens. Gel pens run out of ink too fast!

Mood: hating gel pens...

Today is my first exam. I'm kinda nervous. I did a lot of studying, and I loved the class. I'm sort of sad that it is over. My next exam is the one i'm worried about. I did really well on the midterm but I did so much studying, which is what I need to do again. I don't mind exams, but I just know the endless days of studying. You don't get a break till it's over. All well...School is suppose to be hard. That's just the way it is.

I haven't had any time to read Magyk, or Perfume. I'm a little behind in the book club, but school has to come first. It won't take me long to catch up, once I have a little time.

Mood: Nervous/Tired

I had a good weekend. Daniel and I put up the Christmas tree, and Cameron was so happy. Aiden is only 4 months old, but his eyes light up when he saw the lights.
    Today is my last day of classes, and then my exams start. Exams are 6th, 9th, 11th, 21st... I hate exams, but it feels so good when they are finally over. I'm really excited for Christmas. We leave Montreal on the 22nd to go to Gaspe. I love Christmas' in Gaspe. I wish my parents would come down too, but they don't want to. Maybe next year.
    I'm going to read a bit before I go to class. I still need to finish getting ready.
